How does Knight Construction handle change order work?
Any work shown on the drawings, whether we saw it or not, will be done at no additional cost to our customer. If the customer needs additional work done, we will provide a written estimate and ask for written approval before starting.
Who started Knight Construction?
Knight Construction was founded in 1999 by Ken Knight. In 2005, Ken’s oldest son Chris Trost joined the team. In 2014, Ken’s younger son David Knight joined the team. In 2023, Ken’s granddaughter Mariah Trost joined the team.
Are all three generations still working at Knight Construction?
Yes. Ken, Chris, David, and Mariah all work together and plan to continue doing so for the foreseeable future.

We have enough in house man power to complete any projects that we are price, but do supplement our labor forces at times with trusted partners.

Yes. We have a large office space with 11 offices, a large conference room, a break room, a 1,300 square foot gym, and a large warehouse for tools and equipment.

We have 11 estimators, 3 general field superintendents, 30 foreman, and 50 mechanics not including our trusted subcontractors.
Does Knight Construction do doors or hardware?
We always offer to install door frames. Hanging the doors and installing hardware is considered on a case by case basis.
Does Knight Construction do any caulking?
Yes, we supply and install sound and fire caulk.
